Ellen, have that same problem up here. Some copy shops have their own transfer paper. Believe it or not, though, some office supply places that have copiers in their stores will allow you to use their machines. Just get someone nice to help you. Sometimes it can be as little as $1 a page. If you have to use a copy shop's transfer paper, you can take your transfer to a t-shirt shop and tell them to transfer them to fabric for you. Be sure to have a test picture you can cut up into 2-3 pieces so the temperature and time can be tested. A store called Staples (office supply) carries fabric mounted to a thin plastic. Pictures can be copies directly on this fabric using a Hewlett-Packard printer. Some quilt stores may be able to give you some tips too. Good luck!
