Silkeverything

I would describe myself as a Sunday sewing girl if there is such a thing. Sewing is a creative outlet and most things I make never see the light of day however making them transports me to a place of complete inner peace. I am currently working on a Christening gown using silk from materials I have collected over the years. The project has forced me to read the manual of my Bernina sewing machine - yes it’s only taken me 6 years to do this and I can't believe how many things I have been doing that the machine could have done. Just shows it’s worth reading those boring manuals.
