I've been sewing since I was big enough to turn the handle on an old Singer sewing machine, making clothes for my dolls with the help of my mum.  Since then I've trained at RADA, specialising in wardrobe and costume making, which was where I really improved my skills!  I now work in marketing for a charity, but still sew a lot in my spare time.  Having recently got engaged, I've (somewhat crazily) decided to make my own wedding dress.  And maybe the bridesmaids' dresses...hmmm.  So I'm here in preparation for the times when I want to throw it all out of the window - I feel I'll be needing some moral support and tips when I just can't get it to go right! :)  Also hoping I'll be able to help out others in similar situations.  Thanks in advance!
