Wool/silk blend fabric,can use on bias? (post #35839)

Has anyone ever used wool/silk blend fabric on the bias? Someone wants me to make her a straight fitted dress, but wants it comfortable. The fabric store told her to use the fabric on the bias, can this be done so it looks correct? Thanks
