Again, tonight, I tried to answer a question. I had logged in and the little red box that allows one to respond to questions did not appear on the posts I was reading. I logged in a second time and it still did not appear until I had read several other questions. Isn’t this what this site is supposed to be about? Why is it that after we have logged in we are not allowed to respond. IS ANYONE LISTENING? And YES I am SHOUTING. This site has been pretty much rendered useless.

IS ANYONE LISTENING!!!!!!!!!!
I hear you but I'm not the person that you are trying to get their attention. I keep coming here and posting in the hopes that the board will take off again. But like you I'm getting frustrated. Under the old system, I got emails when a thread was active that I was interested in and following. But not now. I click on the "notify me when new comments are posted" and have checked and rechecked that the site has my correct email address. I've even checked my spam box to see if they are being sent there. But to no avail. The site doesn't even always tell me that there are new posts in any of the folders. Still hope springs every eternal. But I don't know for how long I can keep it up.

True. But there are other, vibrant sewing sites with a lot of give and take where you can find lively discussion on pretty much any topic you post. It all depends on how user-friendly the Powers that Be make the site, and the great reorganization here, ill-executed as it was, has basically killed discussion.
receiving e-mail, using the notify me selection
I got e-mail once from this site. I've been onboard for about a month here now, and received 1 email.
Site frustration
....and did you notice that the last site update was March 12 (I'm assuming this year, but don't bet on it!). A week or so ago I answered a query and after sending it thought of something to add but I wasn't allowed to edit my own posting.
I have written an email - attention Vicky North and Deana Teirney May -
Asking that they give us instructions how this site is supposed to work as there are no instructions that I can see.
Asking that they read our posts and answer them.
Asking also do they not want a website?
And if it costs money to answer us - why don't they run some ads across like some of the dlephi sites do.
I would have been willing to pay a substription to the old site. I feel that the website and the magazine are as one in peoples interest - They should tell us if they are trying to kill the website off so that we will not always be hoping that it will get better.
Although I do not personally know anyone from this site I feel as though you are my friends. I am equally sure that I am not alone in this.
