Quilting and Knitting (post #31242)

I too am a long term subscriber to Threads who also was first attracted by the variety of subject matter in the magazines. I do not make garments but quilt and Threads had some of the most interesting articles on dyeing, weaving, quilting and garments which gave lots of inspiration. Most of the quilting magazines repeat the same basic traditional information and I am looking for much more. I have been inspired by the articles on the three designers, given the same fabric, who make wildly different outfits suiting themselves. I was also inspired by the article on Loes Hinse, who's ideas on coordinating fabric were useable beyond the making of garments. I would like to see the return of more variety.
