I have a customer who wants to add fabric to ready made: as in a dress made larger thru the hips and waist: would like fabric inserted to modify and make a size larger: I plan to go to a thrift shop and cut apart and practice; but is there a video or lessons? sewpaatsee 49

Enlarging dress in the waist and hip
Try adding a gusset to this area.
Can you possibly let out side seams? Are there darts that can be let out? The hardest part may be finding fabric that will match. Perhaps it will be covered by a jacket?
