Quilter’s Home magazine

spicegirl | Posted in Quilting and Home Decor on

If you haven’t picked up an issue of this new magazine (vol 1, issue 5 now on newstand) you are missing the most provocative quilt magazine ever (my opinion).  Don’t expect a lot of pattern and notion reviews.  It is a clever, uncomplicated and sometime humorous look at a variety of things sewers might like to know about.  The editor and primary voice throughout the magazine is Mark Lipinski and he knows everyone, or so it seems.

I love it!  Glad to know the new issue is on the stands, as I've been watching for it for weeks (was beginning to be afraid they'd quit publishing it).  I've bought it since the first issue & read it all - cover to cover.  It's the first "quilting" mag that I've read every single article - a bit of everything in this mag.

Happy to find someone else who loves this mag.  I have found QH at magazine rack in Walmart, Kroger (local grocery chain) and Joann.  If you can't find it, try their website [email protected].  They haven't started offering subscriptions, maybe next year.

Thanks for the info.  We don't have a Kroger's or Jo-Anne's store here (Alberta), but I have obtained it at Safeway or my other supermarket (Save-On, which you don't have where you live).  Will look for it on Saturday.

The first one I purchased was just before the holidays.  I wanted a new magazine to read whilst my family and I drove from Vermont to Virginia to see my parents.  My son and husband were treated to me howling at some of the articles, and I read many passages to them during my non-driving stints.  I'd like to collect the back issues, too.  How refreshing!

Thanks for the info. Didn't even know this magazine existed. I will have to check it out.
