Return to posting after viewing photos?

Josefly | Posted in Photo Gallery on

This may seem like an idiotic question, but can anyone tell me how to return to a posting after viewing the attached photos? All I know to do, after clicking on and viewing a photo, is to click back on the thread topic in the left-hand column, but that takes me back to the beginning of the thread, not back to the message to which the photo was attached. This is quite cumbersome when there are three or four photos attached to a posting, especially if the posting is on a second “page” of messages on a particular thread. I figure there must be a shorter way around this problem, but there is usually nothing on the photo attachment that will lead me back. What am I missing?

I click on the 'back button' for my browser. I agree, there should be a link to go back to the thread but I haven't found one

    Hi,
If you do a right click on the picture and then click on open in new window, when you are finished, just click in the upper right hand on the x box--that will close down the window and return you to the original place. Have fun. Z

Thank you, I will find out how to "right click" on my laptop trackpad. Let me be sure, though, are you saying that I first click on the photo link to get the picture, then right-click on the picture to open it into a new page, or that I first right-click on the photo link? No, no, wait. :>) I got it. On my iBook trackpad I Command click on the photo link, and that opens the photo under a new tab. Thanks for the info. This will save me some time in the future.
