Quilts that went to Ohio

rodezzy | Posted in Photo Gallery on

These are the last two quilts completed for my best friend and her husbands’ family reunion.  Her son picked them up from me, due to unforeseen occurrances, I was not able to go.  I’m sorry, they are a little large.  I did resize them before posting.  But I didn’t want to make them too small.  If there are any problems, pls advise.  The one with her picture is all her clothing.  The signature quilt is my cotton fabric selections for the signature quilt.  My friend said that when she looks at the quilts I sent her, she remembers the clothing as her mother wore them.  That is a great compliment and I am so happy I finally got these projects to her.  My heart melted.  This is what makes it all worth while.

Yes she does.  They bring back pleasant memories of her mother.  And she has a new and beautiful home to put her treasures in.  Now her mom is part of the new home.

Rodezzy - I loved them.  The 'rail fence' signature quilt, is awesome!

Sorry you missed the trip.  I know you enjoy being out and about.  Gail

Thank you for your kind words.  I will be finishing the rail fence as soon as they get it back to me signed.  Which by the way, she said went well.

Way to go, again, Rodezzy!  They are lovely and such a wonderfully heartfelt heirloom that all the money in the world couldn't buy!  God bless you and your sweet heart!  Mary
