black silk dress

Here is the “little black dress” costume that I made for a dancer. The general discussion about this dress began with #7127.1. The photos were made in front of a mirror, so it may be a little confusing to distinguish the skirt. Also, the photo was taken just before the final shoulder adjustments were made, so the seams were still basted.
This young woman had a very long torso. I had to add 4″ of shoulder pads to my dress form as well as make the waist adjustment of the form.
