I have a client that has selected a Vogue pattern that calls for knit fabric, however they have selected to use chiffon fabric. Any advice/tips on adjusting the pattern.

Make a muslim first.  The ease in a knit pattern is almost nonexistant.  And cut the chiffon on the bias.  Frankly, I'd turn down the client.  Or make her get either a pattern designed for woven fabric or change her fabric.  It's not going to be worth the headache making the wrong fabric fit the pattern.
