i am looking for a pattern for a pencil skirt and a blouse that would reflect the 1940's or rockabilly style. any sigestions whould me most helpfull as i have done searches again and again and can not seem to find what im looking for.

Folkwear Patterns has some patterns that would work.  You would have to get more than one pattern to acheive the look you want.  http://www.folkwear.com/retro.html  Or do a search on vintage 1940s-50s patterns.
