Looking for children’s firefighter tu…

My 6 year old is a firefighting fanatic! He is really into the details of being a firefighter, so the coat pattern I am looking for should be true to the specs of the real coat.

If there isn’t a pattern available, could someone suggest one that may be suitable?

Thank you very much.

Have a look at the Folkwear Childs' Drover Coat pattern. It's on clearance because it's being discontinued, so I don't think it shows up on their webpage (but it may) http://www.larkbooks.com. If not, call them and ask for a picture. It may work as a base pattern.

*You can use any coat pattern as long as it is a thigh length one that fits the child. I sent you email instructions on modifying the pattern to make the turnout coat. Should be easy to do. My DH is a retired fire chief so I have some experience regarding firefighter turnout coats.Good luck, Millie
