Help drating a skirt pattern with dimesions

phimms | Posted in Patterns on

Hi everyone! I really need help on creating this skirt pattern for prom. It’s based off this nina ricci dress:

The skirt is going to be detached from the bodice, and I’m going to being putting flowers around the dress on top of the seam that connects the skirt and bodice. I already finished the top of the dress.

I already have the back skirt pattern, I just really need help forming the swirl in the front. A sketch would be reeeaaaalllyy appreciated, as well as tips on how to keep the fabric really stiff.

The fabric I am using is sheer organza.

Thank you soooooo much!!

Hi, phimms ~ I hope this isn't too late to help ...

That really looks like it's made with sortof semi-circular ruffle or flounce pieces - in the 2nd pic, I think I see a seam between the center piece and the side - and the grains seem to be different in the two pieces.

Let us know what you worked out, please!

    Bright Blesings!  Kharmin
