baby shoes/slippers
I just bought a pair of fabric baby shoes/slippers that I'd like to have a pattern for. Thought I had seen a Threads Magazine with them (but for adults) in it some time back but can't seem to find it in the index. Does anyone know where to get something like that?

I think SewStylish also had an article and maybe the same one in it a couple years ago. Go to http://www.craftstylish.com and type in slippers in the search box at the top. There are several sets of ideas and instructions. One was made from old sweaters and looked interesting.

I am not sure if this is what you have in mind but the Martha Stewart site has this free pattern for felt baby shoes that look like they will stay on. Every time I have a new grandchild (9 now) I say I must make these or the ones in the Vogue Pattern book but by the time I find the time, I decide the baby would be too big. Got to act fast with those growing babies !

Thank you so much for sharing those sites! Cloe's Toes also has very detailed-looking how-to for making the shoes: http://www.chloetoesboutique.com/store/WsPages.asp?ID=5, and a request to write her for info on a "Cottage License", if one wanted to 'produce' these designs for profit (arts and crafts sales, Etsy, like that.) I've never noticed that anywhere else, and may look into that process. (Better safe than sorry, legal-wise!)
