prewound bobbins

lindesign53 | Posted in Machine Embroidery on

I bought some prewound bobbins on Ebay and I wasn’t sure I got good quality. It is supposed to be cotton thread but the thread looks a bit nubby. Is it supposed to be smooth and without any fuzz?

Thanks.

They should be smooth.  If they are "nubby" you will have a lot of lint build-up in the bobbin case and surrounding area.

I use NEB prewounds.  They are size L and my machine takes A/15, but they work - dealer recommended them to me.
