Has anybody seen those lovely angel toppers for Christmas trees that look like crochet thread?  Has does one do it?

I have a Designer SE

Try "crochet pattern central" its a website with free crochet patterns. I found a page of angel patterns, Good luck, Sounds like a great idea for christmas craft stalls.

Just realised you wanted embroidery not crochet patterns, Sorry I got carried away.........I spend too much time online looking at crochet patterns.......................

Hi Karen - I just finished an angel tree topper done on an embroidery machine that looks like lace -- there are several patterns for various free standing lace items (tree, snowflake, bowls, etc) at the link shown below - the finished product is awesome.
