    Hi

    welcome

Like the idea of the towels for children. Post pictures if you can. I have been thinking about adding crochet edging to towels.........soething I'll get round to one day.

If you like purple have you heard of the red hatters group?................ladies of a certain age who meet up wearing purple with red hats.......think it's a almost world wide thing..Inspiration comes from the poem " when I am old I shall wear purple"

    Hello to you

You sound like just what I need in my life.  My dog is half Jack Russel and half Rat Terrier.  She and I are older so she's not so hyper.  She was abused before I got her and she's getting more hyper not that she feels safe.

My grandmother taught me to cook and sew before I started to school.  I've had an embrodery machine for a few years but I've not used it that much.  I have done some towels and can tell you that you have to have a thin topper stabalizer to keep the stitches for sinking onto the towel and not showing up.  The other thing is being very careful to mark the center point for your design.  That makes them all come out in the same place.  They have to be the same distance from the edge and usually centered.

Have fun with the grandchildren and remember they are less concerned with perfection than the fact that you did them.
