embroidery machines

Sewdreamy | Posted in Machine Embroidery on

I’m considering buying a new embroidery machine and wonder how other sewers have found the various machines.  What problems and joys have you found.  I am thinking about a Bernina.

I have just purchased a Janome Designer 10000. I had a 3500 which was a computerized machine that didn't have the emboirdery capabilities. One of the features I liked was that the Janome 10000 did not have a seperate emb. unit. It is part of the machine itself. You just select the emb tab, change the needle and foot and you are ready to go. It has the ability to do some editing on the machine and you can download designs directly to your machine from your computer.

Be sure to go on all the web sites if you can't get a first hand demonstration.

I haven't had a lot of time to sew lately but what I have had I can Highly recommend this machine. My 3500 sewed like a dream!
