Designer SE bobbin showing on top

Does anyone have a Designer SE Embroidery Machine? I have had trouble with the bobbin thread showing on the top of the embroidery. I wrote to Husqvarna Viking and they said it was the way I was putting the bobbin in and that I must not be getting it clicked in the tension correctly. I only know of one way to put it in the bobbin holder, with the H on top and hook it around the top left tab and down to the other tab. Does anyone know what I am doing that is not getting it clicked in the tension?

Hi Marcy,
I had the same problem when I was using the quilting stitch. I called my dealer and found out it's a 3 step process. Drop the bobbin in "H" up, then at the bottom (closest to you) pull the thread from right to left catching in the little metal catch then up to the left and down. The thread ends up across the bobbin on top. Looks odd but works much better.
