choices in machine embroidery software

fabricgirllinda | Posted in Machine Embroidery on

Hi, I’m very new to machine embroidery, I have a bernina 200e which I like very well. I’d really like to hear what you experienced machine embroiderers think about the different software that’s available. Not really sure what to choose at this point. Thanks for your input and ideas, Linda

I have a Pfaff and use 4D Suite (an upgrade from their basic software). Making sure, though, that I return on a regular basis to the dealer, a teaching dealership, for lessons on how to use it. It seems to do it all!! Use it on a windows based laptop, but assume that conversion to Mac is also available.

Bernina tends to be proprietary and you may have to use their software.

Decide what it is you want to be able to do with machine embroidery software.

Search for a Yahoo group where there are more individuals with experience with Bernina embroidery. This one may be of help - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/artista200e/

Gather as much information as you can before purchasing expensive software.
