Turn?
Help! I'm knitting some 1 hour (yah right) baby booties, and I'm a bit over my head. What the heck do they mean when they say "turn" in the pattern? Here's the previous and current row:
Row 9 - K 27
Row 10 - K15, skp, turn.
Row 11 - K4, k2tog, turn.
Row 12 & 14 - Sl1 pwise, p3, skp, turn
Row 13 & 15 - Sl1 kwise, k3, k2tog, turn.
Row 16 - Sl1 pwise, p4, k8
Row 17 - K
BO
I'm up to the "turn" part of Row 10 and I'm not sure what to do - am I supposed to actually turn the needles in my hands so I'm going back the other way?

Yes, turn the work so you're going back the other way. I think you're turning the heel of the bootie at this point so there will be some short rows which make a bump-out to go over the heel of the baby. Is it just 17 rows? That's not too bad. rjf

Yep, just 17 rows - but then there's a crocheted strap. But, I think it ended up too small. Ah well. Thanks for clarifying. I figured that's what it meant, but wanted to be sure.
