Overlocking problem – wavy underside thread

ThirdAvenue | Posted in General Sewing Info on

Good Afternoon All,

I’m new here and have an Overlocking question.

I have a Yamato Industrial 5 thread overlocker.

In the picture, it shows the dark red thread having differing width stitches.

I have tried adjusting all 3 threads which compose the Overlocking edge.

What is in the photo is one complete run (much longer than the photo shows).

There was no change in speed or stopping/starting.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

Lynne

    Wavey Overlocker Thread

Raise the antenna to it's full height.  Lift the presser foot, set the tensions to zero, make sure the threads snap into their respective tracks, then gently bring the thread through the machine.  Set the tension back to where the best stitching is achieved.  Hopefully this will help.
