cherrymel | Posted in General Sewing Info on

Hi! do you think a chiffon or organza overlay is better? the material itself is satin. 🙂

It depends on the look you want; chiffon is softer and drapes and flows; organza is crisp (and tends to make a little more 'swoosh' noise when you walk).  This applies to skirts, on a bodice the difference would be very little.

yep- what becky said. what are you making, and what kind of feel do you want? they are both good, just different.
