Pfaff sewing machnes
Hi all, hope someone can help. I am interested in buying a pfaff after using one a friend has. Can someone let me know which ones are the ones made before the company was purchased by Singer? I am looking for middle of the road used. Not tol fancy. I have found that some were made in China. Do not want these. Thanks, Deb

Deb; Do you know when Pfaff was sold? Do you have a Phaff dealer in your town? When I bought my Pfaff Select 3.0 I didn't know the compant had been sold and didn't for a moment consider that it was made anywhere but Germany. If I were buying a machine again I would make sure to look at the plate on the back of the machine. It will give the serial number and the country it was made in. A good dealer should also be able to answere any of these questions.

Thank you. I am not sure when the company was bought out. That is what I would like to know so I can find out which machines to look for. I really want one that was made in Germany.
