Hospital Gown Fabric

maricella | Posted in General Discussion on

Does anyone know of a web site that I could order hospital gown fabric.  I want to make my husband some pajamas and I am having difficulty finding pajama fabric suitable for men.  Thank you.

I'm not sure what hospital gowns are made of--if it's 100% cotton of a cottonpoly blend.  Occasionally Fabric.com has cotton poly scrub material.  I would look for good quality shirting fabric.  Farmhousefabrics.com has quite a selection.  Most of them suitable for men.  They're generally high quality 100% cotton.

      hospital gowns

our group makes gowns for the hospice gowns,       we use bed sheets, many different patterns from plain solids to stripps, designs etc.

have found many new or almost new sheets from twin to king in thrifshops,or just look for sales.

Sheets are a great way to purchase fabric for many many other things, curtains, tops, shower curtains, much cheaper than fabric sometimes because of the large size, even made grandkids pj's and robes from flannell sheets
