Does anyone know of an english resource on cut felt work of the kind seen on traditional Hungarian outerwear?  I've found a couple of books with embroidery patterns, but the only books and resources I can find on cut felt work is in Hungarian, which I don't read.

Sorry I can't help with books....but i was interested in your post as I saw a beautiful cut work felt necklace on line only yesterday. It was orange and had a ribbon tie in orange. The motif was large sort of celtic.........very lovely.......I was thinking of trying to reproduce either in felt or perhaps cords, I would be interested if you find more information.

I wonder if Piecework magazine has covered this somewhere.  I don't have an index of all the magazines, but it sounds like something they may have written about at some time
