Hi all,

Can someone please explain to me: Is there a DVD called "Behind the Seams" by Clair Shaeffer and is it on Chanel jackets?

If so, I am obsessed with making a Chanel jacket and am researching every bit of information I can find.

Also, the book on Couture Basics - is it worth buying?

Tell me anything you know on Chanel - how to make jackets, trims, binding etc.


I am planning on coming to the USA in 2013 and doing a course with Susan Kahlje.

Does Clair Shaeffer offer classes anywhere?

Have seen a magazine article  by Claire Shaeffer on Channel, might be in Threads or SEW TODAY. I know she does examine designer clothes and use them as examples for sewers.

I know Claire sometimes posts on the Creative Machine group at Yahoo. I haven't read any of those posts in ages.. haven't had time.
