Stone Mountain GA Tuesday Morning

Becky-book | Posted in Gather For A Chat on

Were any of you members of the Tuesday Morning Needlework club that met in various homes in Stone Mountain GA?

My Mother was a member from 1979 to 1991.  In 1979 the ladies decided to make a friendship quilt by exchanging 12 inch blocks.  My Mom’s stack of blocks sat on her shelf until this year when I finally convinced her to allow me to finish it as her Christmas gift.  She was in tears when she saw the finished product, partly because the quilt also contains blocks made by her Mom and Mom-in-law, both gone now.

Her response was one of my best gifts this year!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Becky

Thank you for that wonderful story. Sometimes it's the simplest heartfelt gifts that mean the most.
