Hints

Evie | Posted in Gather For A Chat on

Hi everybody—Jan here.  A while back there was talk of putting together something about the best hints for sewers. I occurred to me that I actually had a hint! the thing is to PUT THINGS AWAY! I am not the most organized person. And I get very upset with myself if I finish for the day and leave items all over the place. Because when I begin a project again I have to gather up all my “stuff”. I don’t mean to say to put things in the closet and make the room super neat but at least put the scissors( and whatever)back by the machine and the tape measure rolled up on the table –not in the living room where the cat can play with it.  All of you probably already do this. It sure saves wandering all over the house looking for things. Now I will take my own advice. My best to all                           Janet

In order to put stuff away, you have to get the cat off it first!  How do they look so contented so quickly?!  Someone recently asked a queston about sewing large drapes--the first image that popped into my head was of a lot of fabric covered in cat fur!
