I and another Gatherings poster were wondering if it is acceptable to post a message that about a piece of equipment for sale or one you are looking to purchase? Examples; ‘quilting machine for sale’? Or ‘wanted to purchase used embroidery machine’?
Can you make a buyers and seller folder?

Paula, the Content Policy (in a folder here of the same name) prohibits "junk mail and unauthorized advertising" on the Gatherings site. I think it's fine for you to list a personal piece of equipment that you'd like to sell or buy. But it's not okay to advertise multiple pieces of equipment for sale in your store, for example.
At the moment, this type of posting belongs in the Equipment and Supplies folder. That's where people who are interested in equipment will see it.
