Good morning.

I have a multi-size pattern with princess seams.  The cutting lines around the bust area seem strange to me.  The cutting lines of the smallest size has the greatest width, while the largest size has the smallest width.  It seems to me that this should be  exactly the opposite.  If I'm off base, would some of you with more experience, explain this.
