Altering a back yoke for jeans

anneaude | Posted in Fitting on

I am duplicating store bought jeans for a better fit.  My right hip is 3/4″ higher than my left.  I’ve slashed and spread (horizontal) the right front about 1″ at the side seam tapering the adjustment about 1/2″ away from the center front.  The front does not have a yoke; the back does.  Slash and spread the right back yoke in the same manner as the front?  What about the right back yoke and right back pant?  Any ideas?

Thanks!

I would think you need to make the same adjustment for the back as for the front.  Maybe on the pant and not the yoke as it may be more noticeable where there is a limited design feature (yoke).

That's what I was thinking!  Thanks.
