Threads DVD. UK IMPORT DUTIES
Jsst a note to anyone ordering the threads archive DVD from the UK the import duties to pay (item over £35) are £20.
I am delighted to have all 146 issues on 1 DVD and consider it well worth the money.
But thought I'd post this to alert other UK readers

Wow, my DVD of all copies 1-146 is fantastic - so much to look at, as I only have copies from 100 on. Very exciting! It is very easy to access and move around, you can see the pages of an entire issue in thumbnail, and then thee is 'search'. I hope many of you are enjoying this treasure, as I am. Happy Christmas fellow sewers - I hope the climate (hot here cold for many of you) is kind and enjoyable.

I agree it's a great resource - I've been looking at the very early ones with their very different emphasis. Unfortunately, not only do you pay customs, but a sizeable handling fee to the Royal Mail. And the whole thing only occupies about half a DVD, so could have been also sold as a download - saving carriage, customs and delays!
