My Threads 151 arrived today.............great issue. I'm really enjoying each issue this days.

One of my favouite articles is the Embellishments- Modern Smocking.

As a children in the 1960's   my sisters and I had  beautiful little dresses with smocking,I still have many of them now. However they have the traditional English smocking.

I would love to explore North American smocking can anyone reccommend a book on the subject? Or any further information
