What kind of fabric can I use to make a  white dress not see through?

Use a skin tone color that is close to that of the wearer.

From my personal experience in sewing, I must say a fabric in white color of any weight will allow see through. Natural fabrics like rayon are not that much effective. You have to choose a good quality polyster fabric. If you buy dresses online or from stores, it's hard to find white clothes without transparency.

I think white cotton linens is better.
