Removable Snap? on lycra blend leotard?

nick0166 | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Help!

Our Irish dance team wants to add a cape- see attached pix for what I mean- to their performance leotards.

But the fabric is SO thin and as it ls a lycra blend, I’m worried any type of removeable snap will pull and

tear the fabric. We can’t use velcro, as the girls have expensive irish wigs that could catch on it, when the cape

is not in place

The cape will be a lightweight material like what is shown in the pix.

We figure we need to sew onto the seam on top and side seam opposite. But am stumped as to how to best secure.

Thanks for ANY help!

    Attaching Snap on Lycra fabric

Reinforce the back/inside of the garment with spot of the same fabric

    Leotards

Dance team all new leopard shade lightness and running steps and add to the look for the gymnasium. Other than I cannot, I'm constantly surrounding dance and I do not continually discover the variety where I would be excellent...
