Does anyone have a source for knitted cuffs for sportswear?

I use knit ribbing you can purchase by the inch. I have also know people to use the top of socks.

Another possibility ~ sleeve-ends from too small or otherwise unloved sweaters...

Ribbed knits and yardage are so expensive and come in such limited colors that I usually try something completely different: either a thrift store purchase, a ragbag find, or a hand knit or crocheted cuff. If none of those work, I'll find a contrasting fabric and make a buttoned cuff and use the same fabric on a pocket or collar to make a design detail. If you are using a knit for the sportswear, it's easy to use a doubled length for a cuff, too.

Els did a tutorial you might find of interest.
