Attaching faux fur trim

Klaudia | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Hello Everyone

Does anyone have tips on attaching faux fur to a garment. I am making Vogue pattern V7981 hat B, which looks like one of those Genghis Khan type hats with the fur band as a brim. The instructions say to attach the band to the cap part of the hat. I am assuming a hand sewing technique. Any suggestions?

Noticed you're still awaiting replies.   You've probably completed attaching the fur band.

MO, the better wa yfor you to ahve done it, is by hand stitching as you mentioned.

Using the catch stitch on the following URL would have worked I'd say.  Scroll to Hemming Stitches.
