Looking for online sewing accesories …

Hi!

I am a fairly new sewer. I am wanting to purchase a large French Curve to alter patterns. Also, I am looking for a pressing ham. I cannot find these items in my area so I am looking for an on-line purchase. Any suggestions. Thanks.

*Michelle, try http://www.nancysnotions.com and http://www.clotilde.com. Also there are lots and lots of websites for sewing supplies in the back of magazines like Threads and Sew News, at bookstores.

*Michelle, I live in the boonies and do most of my shopping on line. But we travelled a bit this summer and I found a french curve at a craft store (in this case it was Craft Canada) at a price that was signficantly cheaper than any on line sewing specialty stores. So if you have a chain craft store nearby, check out their sewing, quilting sections. Otherwise, try some of the Canadian stores on line (like agreatnotion.com) - with the exchange, they're often a good price.
