Irons

Wanted an iron/steam generator, ended up with a “Euro Pro Ironing Solution” vacuum board with iron. (Can’t resist a bargain!) Does anyone have this system? How do you like it? Or don’t you and why not? IA

I have the EuroPro ironing system with the vacuum table. I bought one after using one at a wool coat making class. It's fantastic for wool (and other fabrics). I'm not very patient at waiting for fabric to cool down before whisking it back to the sewing machine and with the vacuum table I don't have to be! When it's been on and I have to add water,I use a potholder to turn and gradually open the hot knob on the table (then I don't have to wait quite so long for it to cool down). I do wish the table was as big as a standard size ironing board though.
I also have an Elna press, which I basically use for fusibles, and a Bernette Pro Glide Plus for everyday ironing. I think I'm set for a while. ;)
