EuroPro Iron too hot to handle

Sue_Butler | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I have a Europro iron with the tank. The handle gets extremely hot when I steam to the point where I have to pick it up wiht a cloth around the handle. The dealer I bought it from no longer carries them. Can anyone shed light on my problem. Thanks!!

Sue, I have a Europro with the suction ironing board. Because of problems with a hot handle and having it sputter water all of the time I replaced the iron head with a new one with a cork handle. (I had heard that the hot handle is a problem with these irons.)

I mostly use the ironing board with my Rowenta now. I do not know if I would invest in one of these irons again.
