On Project Runway, we see the designers using a thin type of black tape to place design lines on their dress forms.  What is this tape called and where can one buy it?

I know you can buy the  sticky tape as I've seen it in threads magazine.........but I use ordinary narrow  (seam stabiliser type)  tape and pins. Or  on a cotton toille, if at that stage, tape or pen.
