lace bowls and baskets
I'm new to this, so I will just in and see what happend. I have a Bernina deco 600 and just got a Bernina 330 embroidery machine. Now I can do larger patterns. I am really into lace bowls and baskets. I'm looking for a spooky halloween bowl/basket, but when I do a search the same site come up and I have not seen any that I like. Does anyone know of a site that has unique and different lace bowl/basket patterns? If so please email me at warden51@sbcglobal.net. Thanks Pam George

I checked out the site and they are, indeed, lovely. I noticed that some of the designs say "photo stitch technique". Do you know whether that technique requires something additional? Z

This explains the photo stitch technique used by the website. 4 lessons in total. Scroll down to bottom of webpage and click 'next lesson'.
I have not done this type of design yet, so have also learned someting new.

Thanks. I read through all the lessons and now understand the process. I think that once I get started I will stick to designs that are initially less dense. I see why it is described as "impressionistic". Z

Yes, me too and, like you, I will stick to less 'dense' designing. Glad you had time to read through it.
