Which issue

In which issue is the article about making a tunic / cape / skirt out of a rectangular piece of boiled wool or felt? The edges are snapped together in a variety of ways to make the different garments. I made one prior to 2011, so it was before that. Thanks!

      Thank you

I found the article in issue 136; thanks so much! I have made this pattern twice now. Both times I used a (wool or wool-blend) tweed and lined it, which complicates what was supposed to be quick to make. I face and interface the armhole slit; I interface each edge that will support snaps. Then I hem it all around, and hand sew a lining to the whole thing. I have received many compliments on the one I made for myself, using a piece of Scottish tweed that I received as a gift many years ago. Just yesterday I completed one for my niece as a graduation gift. I bought the material at one of the shops mentioned in Threads #174, Shopping for fabric in NYC.
