Does anyone recall a threads article about interfacing clothes? 

 I think I mean "interfacing" and not interlining.

The article was about altering a pattern by not using the facing pattern pieces and interfacing the entire garment.  I think there was some tie in to a fashion designer or manufactured line.

I have a basic pattern for a bias cut dress and at the time purchased enough silk chiffon to line the dress but now I can not find the article.  The pattern is a simple Calvin Klein from a while ago.
